Over the past three months, a wonderful group of folks from Progressive AE have stepped up to volunteer at our Hunger Hunters mobile food pantry site at Campau Elementary School. With their energetic assistance, we served a record number of families in a single month in May, outraced an oncoming thunderstorm to finish June’s distribution with ten minutes to spare, and most importantly provided about 15,000 lbs. of good food to people in need.
Together with companies like Progressive AE, groups like Rodef Shalom, and organizations like the Sebastian Foundation and Feeding America West Michigan, Nonprofit Innovations is making real progress towards ending hunger in our community. To everyone who makes this work possible, thank you!
