Helping the Nonprofit Sector Do Good… Better

Nonprofit Innovations is dedicated to enabling the nonprofit sector to adequately address hunger, homelessness, and other issues relating to basic human needs within the constraints of the resources already available. In pursuit of this goal, we conduct research, pilot new program models, promote best practices, and develop tools to help nonprofits work more efficiently.

Accomplishments

Hunger Hunters
• Since August of 2010, we have distributed over 300,000 pounds of food to people in need in underserved areas of Grand Rapids! That’s more weight than the steel frame in the Statue of Liberty!

Findafoodpantry.org
• Since its inception, Findafoodpantry.org has helped almost 20,000 unique visitors find food pantries in their communities.

Coming Soon

Endhungerinamerica.org
• For the better part of a decade, Endhungerinamerica.org has helped thousands of people learn how to help their communities end hunger. We are pleased to announce that Nonprofit Innovations will be continuing this work, taking over ownership and administration of the site from Feeding America West Michigan Food Bank, and bringing it up to date with a new look and a revised and expanded set of materials. The new version is set to launch in mid 2013.
